This test kit is prepared by Colloidal Gold Immunochromatographic Assay (GICA) technology.When an adequate volume of test specimen is dispensed into the sample well of the cassette,it migrates across the nitrocellulose membrane together with the colloidal gold marker.If canine coronavirus (canine parvovirus) is present in the specimen, it will bind to the colloidal gold marker and antibody on the test line to show purplish red. If canine coronavirus (canine parvovirus) is not present in the specimen, no purplish red line will be produced on the test area(T). Regardless of the presence of canine coronavirus (canine parvovirus) in the specimen, a purplish red line will form in the quality control area (C).
Canine coronavirus (CCV) is a viral infectious disease that seriously endangers the dog industry. It can cause gastroenteritis symptoms of different degrees in dogs, characterized by frequent vomiting, diarrhea, depression, anorexia and other symptoms. It can occur all year round, especially in winter. Sick dogs are the main source of infection. Dogs can be infected through respiratory tract, digestive tract, feces and pollutants.
Canine parvovirus (CPV) belongs to Parvoviridae and parvovirus genus. Canine parvovirus has strong resistance to common disinfectants and can survive in feces for months to years. Canine parvovirus is highly infectious. Dogs of different ages, genders and breeds can be infected, especially young dogs. Dogs infected with canine parvovirus have acute morbidity and high mortality. The clinical manifestations are vomiting and diarrhea.
This test kit is used for the detection of canine coronavirus and canine parvovirusin dog feces.
