This test kit applies magnetic bead method to extract HBV DNA from serum or plasma specimens. It uses a pair of specific primers and a specific fluorescent probe (TaqMan probe 5 ‘ end labeled FAM fluorescein) designed for the conserved region of HBV nucleic acid, matched with PCR reaction solution, using the Real-time PCR detection technology to realize the quantitative detection of HBV DNA through the change of fluorescence signals on the fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument.
This test kit is used for quantitative detection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA in clinical serum or plasma specimens. The test results can be used for auxiliary diagnosis of hepatitis B and observation of antiviral drug efficacy.
