【Principle】

This test kit applies fluorescence PCR technology. It selects the relatively conserved region in the genome of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis to design specific primers and probes, after the extraction of nucleic acid of specimens uses a fluorescence PCR method to realize a quick and qualitative detection of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis in clinical specimens.

【Intended use】

M. tuberculosis-complex (MTC) has five members: human Mycobacterium tuberculosis, bovine Mycobacterium tuberculosis, African Mycobacterium, Mycobacterium microti and Bacillus Calmette Guerin (BCG, Attenuated Mycobacterium bovis). The first three kinds are common pathogenic bacteria of tuberculosis, which can enter the body through respiratory tract, digestive tract and damaged skin mucosa, and invad various tissues and organs, causing tuberculosis of corresponding organs. Lung tuberculosis is most common. This test kit is used for qualitative detection of specific DNA nucleic acid fragments of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-complex (MTC) in sputum of suspected tuberculosis patients with tuberculosis related signs/symptoms and X-ray findings. It can be used for clinical auxiliary diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.
